Learn to Soar

Soar beyond your wildest dreams!

“For once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward.” ~Unknown

I am a USHPA instructor and advanced rated pilot. To begin lessons, contact me today! 619-800-3765 or anna@hangglidesandiego.com.

NOW through October 2015: I’ll be teaching at Hang Glide New England in New Braintree Massachusetts. We’re closest to Boston, Hartford, and Providence. Come fly with us! www.hangglidenewengland.com

Hang gliding is not for everyone, but with determination, passion, and proper instruction you can soar high above the earth safely. This page eventually will feature more resources for an inspired future pilot to get started.

I learned just outside of San Diego in San Marcos from John Heiney (www.johnheiney.com). San Diego, it turned out, is one of the best places in the United States to fly year-round.

The United States Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association oversees the certification of pilots and instructors (in the U.S.).

Spring 2016 look out for Hang Glide San Diego. We are still looking for a decent training hill, but our goal is to be available for training in early 2016.
